The New Eyes Project welcomes teachers, students, program directors, sponsors, and all others committed to furthering photography education on the preK-12 level worldwide.
This site exists to serve as a collecting point for information, resources, bibliographic references, teaching materials, historical data, commentary, and other things relevant to the process of teaching photography to the young. We have created it as a service to the field, and a tribute to those, past and present, who have committed their energies to this process.
Browse our menu to find readings, lesson plans, and a history of this forty-year pedagogical experiment. Register with us to describe your program, past or present, participate in our forums, and otherwise engage with the international community devoted to encouraging “new eyes” in their voyages of discovery across the globe.
We expect this site not only to grow but to evolve in response to the suggestions of its users. We invite your comments and ideas concerning its development.
